ABOUT MORLEY GARDENS
My name is Robert.
I own Morley Gardens. I’ve been a garden enthusiast since, well, as long as I can remember really. I’ve been keen as mustard since working at the local garden centre from eight years of age. Plus my gran had a Fuchsia Nursery and maintained hotel gardens where I would spend most of my time. Gardening is pretty much in my blood…
"PROUD TO BE A GARDEN GEEK!"
I’ve come a long way since working at my local garden centre, my degree in Garden Management from Hadlow College - through Greenwich University - really cemented my passion. I passed with merit and got 98% in Soil Science ask me about masopores and micropores and you’ll have me talking for hours!
"I'VE BEEN INSPIRED BY THE GREATS."
My degree gave me opportunities to work on National Trust gardens, such as Chartwell House (Churchill’s former residence) and Regents Park. Pretty mind-blowing experiences.
"OUR STANDARDS ARE HIGH."
Working with the luxury property developer Galliard Homes has also helped hone my expertise and strive for exceptional results. I ran a team of more than 20 gardeners creating stunning, award-winning gardens for their flagship properties - and those of the directors too!
"BESPOKE IS WHERE I'M AT."
Working more closely with clients on bespoke projects was always a passion and so running Morley Gardens is a dream come true. I’m so proud of what me and my team have created since we started up; I think the spaces we create demonstrate that we genuinely care.
From Holland Park to Langley Park, Keston Park and beyond our reputation has spread and most of our work comes from recommendations.
"A FINISH THAT SPEAKS FOR ITSELF."
Gardening might sound simple but making the jigsaw of so many different materials and elements work in harmony is a challenge I’m obsessed by. Please do look at our gallery and testimonials and you’ll see what I mean…
